A year ago I told you about a new product I got - the Spindel. The Spindel is a thing (machine) that takes the water out of your just washed clothes by spinning the clothes around really fast in a small machine. Much faster than your washing machine. It removes the water by centrifugal force, not by heating. Because almost all the water is removed from your freshly washed wet clothes and linen, the wet washing takes soooo much faster to dry. And in this revolting, miserable, wet weather we have had, we need all the help we can get when it comes to drying clothes.
Aside - did you know our dams are 103% full at the moment. Yes, that is how much rain we have had recently. Every single hole in the ground as been turned into a swimming pool. But we shan't complain. Too much.
Anyyywayyy, the folk at Spindel have let me know that they are running a competition at the moment to give away a Spindel valued at R1,599 to one lucky reader. So all you South African peeps, head on over to my reviews blog and enter the competition. Trust me, you will love love LOVE this product. There are few things that warm my heart more than saving time and money.

I bought a Spindel after reading your review last year and LOVE it. My twins were 3 months old and the amount of laundry they generated with their reflux was horrifying. It was winter, cold and raining, so no washing got dry and we spent a fortune on electricity. Not only is their product brilliant, their after-sales service is amazing too. Our Spindel broke within the guarantee period and I sent an email to the email address on the website. Less than 15 minutes after sending the mail I received a call from Paul who arranged to come to my house the very next working day to fix it. How's that for fantastic service? Everyone should have a Spindel!

Spindel, I wish you would come to America! I know enough of us probably don't line dry our clothes to make a decent market share for you, but I sure would have loved to have one of these last year when I was without a heated dryer and just using lines and racks in the Florida humidity.
