Reminds me of the movie "Despicable Me" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nSINQJlSTc

I *lurve* Max's hair. I'm with him. Don't cut it!

My boy (8 yrs old) has a 'fro too. A far bigger one than Max's! We made a deal: If he would get a haircut for his First Communion (last May), he could decide when the next haircut would be. So far his choice is never. He says he wants to be Rapunzel Man!

That is gorgeous. We had to cut my sons curls off (one of his stims was to twirl it - he had dreadlocked parts of it) and I miss it terribly.

The bigger the better. oh wait thats something else, right?

He has years and years of HAVING to have his hair short. It is beautiful! I also let Bryce's grow and grow and grow.

Ever so slightly hippy-ish - but I didn't care!

He has such beautiful curls. I hated cutting Evan's hair the first time (and he didn't have the massive curls that Max has). I love the curls...keep them as long as you can.

My adult stepson has wonderfully curly hair that he'll let grow into quite a similar do (but longer) and then shave. Often he shaves half his head (left side, right side, front, back -- choices vary) and then waits a day before doing the other half. In short, cheer up, things could be worse ;)!
