is there any other way to spell favourite?
although, i suppose you do pronounce it "fevourite".

consider it done, both of you!

fay-vir-rit

now don't be rude Tess. Just because I said you Canadians all sounded like Americans to me doesn't mean you can tease me about my Souf Effrican accent.

Puh.leez. A Canadian sounds as much like an American - what with their a-boots, and sore-ies, as a Scot sounds like a South African.

And by the way you two, the most honorable way to spell as colorful a word without whining would be favorite.

xoxo

Goodluck thanks for the link you on the my African hot list ?

how you seen this ?

Voted :)

I love doing stuff like this. I don't know why, but it's nearly as satisfying as a night of uninterrupted sleep... Or a box of chocolates all to myself... or a few hours to lie in the sun and read...

Ok then. Maybe I need to get out more!

Ps - also voted for Mel's blog there! :p

I think you cheated just a wee bit. To make sure you felt like you didn't have to do this if you didn't REALLY want to.

FYI: you wrote it correctly, "Please nominate Karen and me." It's not Karen and I. The way you can tell is if you took Karen out of the sentence. You would then say, "Please nominate me," not "Please nominate I." :)

Glad I read the other comments first - would have said exactly what Pascha said. :-)

Another grammar geek piling on to say what Pascha said.

I can't in good conscience vote for a site that wastes so many U's in words that don't need them. Tertia, it's people like you and Karen that leave the Czechs and Slovaks and Poles so short on vowels that they cook up crazy words like "Brno" and "Krzyzewski." We Americans may consume more than our share of natural resources, but dammit, we are not wasteful with our vowels.
