It is taking
FOREVER to get my book published internationally. Things work so slowly over there (there being
America). And to make matters worse, my agent
is on maternity leave.
How ironic.
And no YouTube
unfortunately, the TV people said there are copyright issues and I am not
allowed to publish the segment on my blog. Damn. It was a good one. Plus my hair looked so fab
from the blowjob. Oh well, you will just
have to use your imagination re the lovely sleek hairdo.
Happy Saturday.
Damn... and damn again.

I don't get it - I see stuff on YouTube all the time that comes off of the TV. What is up with that? Oh well.
Your book will be amazing no matter when it makes it international (just so long as it does!)...I'll wait however long it takes!

Maybe it just depends on who puts it on youtube...... maybe if an independent viewer put it on, instead of Tertia, it would be different.
I'd do it, but I'm in the US so am still waiting for Tertia to make it international. I'm sure it will be soon!

Long time reader, first time poster. FWIW, here's my two cents regarding your publishing situation. I've worked in publishing in the US for more years than I can believe. (And I'm not that old either!)
Is it possible for you to work with a subagent in the US, who would split the commission with your agent? I'm assuming that she held onto all rights for your book outside of SA (meaning that your SA publisher only purchased the right to publish your book in your country and associated territories).
Yes, things move slowly in the US when it comes to submissions. But given that your book has been successfully published and you've had media attention, surely a multiple submission is in order? That would speed things up. Also, when my literary agent went on maternity leave, she had her assistant follow up on stuff, so I wasn't left abandoned.
Good luck to you!!!! I look forward to reading your book when it finally gets published here. :)

"Plus my hair looked so fab from the blowjob." The first thing that came to my mind? That's why Marko was so good at the interview. Damn you woman and your use of the word blowjob.

Maybe ask them (MNet) if they will host the segment on THEIR website and then give you the link for all your loyal fans, erm readers??!!?? :D
