You know that thing that I spoke about a
while ago? That problem I was having
with Adam? I don’t want to mention
anything for fear of jinxing things, but things are much better around
here. And we didn’t even really have to
do too much about it. Two nights of very
minor strategic reprogramming and things seem to be on track again. Not that I am saying everything is
fine! Oh no! I would never be that bold. But for now, things seem to be ok.
(Now watch him be awake the whole night, just to punish me for daring the jinx factor)
(Kate with her big hair and dirty lovey! I do wash them, often!)
(Adam adores his loveys, he has to have two of them, and they have to be near his head)
Notice both kids in their day/ summer Grobags. Love those Grobags.
Yeah, we're back to normal also. Yay, CIO!

I sort of can't believe that they don't get annoyed with those grobags things...
don't they try to stand up in them?
Ahhhh, but sleeping babes, shhhhhh...

Those pictures made my ovaries twinge.

If I am ever blessed enough to enjoy another child, I am definitely getting those grobag thingies!!!

I love the Grobags. We call them sleep sacs. People told me they would outgrow them once they could crawl. And then once they could stand. And then once they could walk. But even now, at age 2, they still love them. We are raising expert potato sack racers.

You think I can put my 13 year old in a Grobag?? LOL

Why don't they make Grobags in MY size?

That is what I am saddest about now that we are on the cusp of moving our daughter to a big girl bed, saying good bye to the sleep sacks (as we call them here). I just can't see it if she needs to get out of bed to go potty, otherwise I'd keep her in one forever ...

Oh I heart grobags too. Best thing ever. Never knew about them with my daughter, she never kept a blanket on and I'd be in there all night covering her up, or cranking the heater, or putting her in 3 layers of clothes. My son is 21 months and loves his Grobag. He'll go get it when he's ready to sleep. They make a version for 3 to 7 year olds can you believe?? It's for those die-hard kids who just get too attached.
Blackbird, you would think they'd get annoyed in them, but when they are on the kids seem to know it means sleep. They can stand up in them, and can crawl around the cot. It means they can't climb out of the cot, too!
Gorgeous sleeping babes, so cute.

Yours look so beautiful and peaceful asleep... isn't the best part of parenting watching them sleep and then watching them lunge for you when they wake?

DD was sitting on my lap as I checked in this afternoon and wants to know if she can come visit Adam and Kate. I don't think she understood exactly how far away they are... Sweet pics of the kiddos. Love the sleepsacks -- kids can stand and walk well enough to get the the other side of the crib. Just wish they weren't so expensive.

I want a grobag. Do you think they make a black lace, racy one for an adult woman? I'm always cold in bed and have the covers snatched constantly. Between husband and 105 pound (don't know how many stones that is) dog + little puppy who has to be protected from being squashed, I NEVER have the covers. I NEED one of those, preferably crotchless....

Oh they are so sweet.

What absolutely adorable pictures!! I love Kate's "big hair"!! We never used a grobag for Jacob, but after seeing these pictures, I really wish that I had. It will definitely be on the list of things for baby #2 whenever he/she comes along. I love the way Adam has his lovies (Jacob has more than one, too)by his head. Too cute. Seeing them like that just makes me want more (Jake just turned 2, though, and there's no way I could be pregnant and care for him nor have a newborn and him).

I bought some of those "grobags"/sleep sacks when I was in Germany 10 years ago in preparation for my babies. (Little did I know how LONG it would take to get the BABIES.) I loved them so much and we definitely used them. I got one as a gift that was actually divided into "feet" rather than a bag at the bottom and we used that for our daughter for a LONG time. My husband used to hold on to the sholders and swing her around in it which she loved. I need to dig the sleep sacks out for my son (who could still use them) and maybe then he won't get out of bed so often. LOL
Beautiful sleeping babies. I always love those moments! :-)

I had a "lovey." I've never heard anyone else call them that. At the age of 27, Lovey is long since retired but is stored in my nightstand for safe keeping and will be sewn into the lining of my wedding dress. ;) Love those curls.
