Just to
let you know there is GREAT excitement in the Tertia household – we have 25
more sleeps until Rose has her breast reduction. She is so sweet, she went out and bought two new sexy bra’s
yesterday in size 36C, which is the size we’ve decided she should be. Not too small because big’ish boobs very
much part of her culture, but small enough to suit her small frame. She tried
on a few of my bra’s (I am either a 34C or a 36C) and the size seems to fit her
pretty well.
Once
again, thank you so much to everyone who helped Rose achieve her dream. A big thanks to Boulder for collecting the
funds and to my brother who arranged the transfer of funds from the USA to the
UK through to SA, and for adding in even more money than he already had donated
to make up some of what we lost due to levies and fees. Thanks to you all we managed to collect
around $2600! (after deductions etc) Isn’t that fantastic.
I’ll remind you just before she goes in for her operation and if you’d like, you can send her a good luck message and I will print it out for her.
I think the babies are going to miss her breasts, they love resting their heads against them or patting them. They pat things they like. They pat her breasts a lot.
Yes please keep us updated on Rose, shes very much in my prayers. I am so glad the internets came through for her and you..

How exciting! Good luck to Rose.
BTW, speaking of the poll today, it was a no-brainer...I already married choice number one! Pretty much, anyway. heh.

I'm so glad that Rose gets to have this done, and so glad that we got to help a little bit. And how lucky you two are to have each other.

T,
I had a breast reduction back in 2001 (went from a J to a D) and if you, or Rose, or ANYONE has any questions or vice, ad- or ass-, I would be glad to help.
It is the best thing I've ever done.

My 6mth old pats his favourite things too. V cute.
All the best to Rose, hope all goes well.
See what good the world can achieve when we get together? If only our leaders could be as compassionate towards others. Sigh.

Good luck to Rose!
Heh, I also already married choice #1, only mine doesn't LOOK nerdy, he's a closet history geek, and his sex drive isn't too low.

My husband was just asking yesterday when Rose's surgery is. Please keep us posted on things.
And I married number one, for the most part... except with a high sex drive. (sometimes too high... and that's even with ttc!)

That is so cute! I also want updates on Rose.

The babies will probably have to find something else to pat for a few days after the surgery. Just a guess.

Very exciting!
In one of your posts, you wrote that Rose said she wasn't taking her boobs with her to 2006 (or something to that effect). I was so envious of her saying that, that I schedule a reduction for me, and I'm T-21 today!

You go Rose!! I want to wish you well on your wait to smaller boobs. Don't get too nervous - Tertia is there to support you (no - not like a bra!!). Where are you having the surgery? Keep healthy and happy.

Yay for Rose!
Tertia, I'm an occasional reader & I don't think I've ever posted before. I had a reduction in '94, and it changed my life. (I was a 36C too, at least until I had a baby and breast-fed for 30 months & counting...) Anyway, tell Rose that if she has any desire to have children someday and has the smallest idea that she might want to breast-feed, to tell her doctor NOW. (I don't know how old she is, or anything else about her really, so I apologize if I'm giving her totally unneeded advice!) The good surgeons are pretty good about using the best techniques to preserve the glandular tissue to optimize the chance of bf'ing in the future, but sometimes they need to be reminded.
But yay, good for her for doing this, and good for you for helping to make it happen, and good for all your great readers for helping too!
