Have even cooler, better new tool, coming soon.
It is like the poll thingy, but it allows me to do 10 polls at once, on one page, and also allows you to view the stats.
I want to do an 'about you' type thingy to find out who you are. So what questions do I need to ask?
I've got age, sex, where you live, fertile / infertile, kids.... what else should I ask? Brain dead at the mo'.
Ok, I've done it already seeing as you are all lazy assholes asleep.
Check it out and tell me what else I can add or whether I have forgotten something off.
It does have pop ups, but I dont get them - google's pop up blocker is stopping them.
Religion, profession, favourite pets, hobbies, which internet forums people use, how they found your blog... public vs private school, black sheep of the family or not, how many siblings vs how many kids people have?
Whatever you want to know about us!
Waiting Patiently for the new poll.
RS

how you found tertia, how long have you been a devotee? how many times a week do you check tertia's site ? what best describes your emotions if there is no new post from tertia?

Jesus, Tersh, a poll about what kind of poll you should have?
Posted by: Julie | 09 June 2005 at 10:42 AM
You are officially mad as a hatter, ARE YOU BORED?? Good God! I'm w Julie, at a vomit-safe distance.
And dudette, how about Don't Know, Haven't Tried Yet BUT Expect Problems When I do? Got to include the proto-reproductive freaks or we'll cry.

Re: kids, need a place for got kids, am probably done, wish i could have more though. E.g. primary infertility was so bad, don't want to go back to that store for secondary infertility as well! And of course we're getting older... comfortingly older than you!
Keep the polls coming, they are fun.

I have google pop up blocker, and while it is blocking some I am also getting some pop ups that get through. Not that it's a problem, I'd still visit if you had hundreds of pop ups, but I thought you might be interested to know. Fun polls though :)

yeah, don 't leave out Johnny, maybe a question about how many of you pets have all their legs? And don't forget the SIF'ers, we always get left out.heh

How about asking our worst personal trait? There are a lot of assholes just crying out for recognition.
Posted by: Orange | 09 June 2005 at 03:22 PM
He he, you said "tool".

Ooo, you should poll our favorite swearwords, I like swearing. I honestly love the term cunt-rag, it's one of my faves.

Hey, how do we answer the current poll (where do you work?) if we only work part-time? I am home Mon-Fri so in that way I'm a SAHM. But I work 24 hrs/week on the weekend so I also work part-time outside my home. Can you make a special category for me because I'm a pain?
Posted by: Linda | 09 June 2005 at 04:37 PM
I just marked incarcerated below because it was funny, what do you think the funny factor is in the polls?
Posted by: Lisa V | 09 June 2005 at 04:41 PM
I second Linda. I'm a 20-hour-per-weeker, too. And we part-timers need our own poll category...we're used to having people bend over backward for us.
Posted by: K | 09 June 2005 at 06:42 PM
home schooling, is that work or SAHMing I wonder?
Posted by: LEB | 09 June 2005 at 08:44 PM
I dunno what you should ask in your next poll, but I just voted in on the demographic poll and was pleased to see I made it into the 1%. (That was under "unemployed," not "incarcerated.")
Posted by: wessel | 09 June 2005 at 09:23 PM
Okay, "unemployed AND living off the dole"? How about just "unemployed"? Or, "not employable due to stupid fertility treatments interfering with my life"? Maybe I should answer "incarcerated" because I'm imprisoned by infertility...
Posted by: projgen | 09 June 2005 at 10:16 PM
How many questions will have an "other" option? I'd fill it out when you put it up, but well, I have no clue if I'm fertile. ^^

Gee, Tertia. I don't visit for a few weeks and you go all technogeek on me.
I missed you, the kids and the hubby.
Posted by: Scully | 09 June 2005 at 11:58 PM
The "moved straight to adoption" answer bugs me, hobag. Because I DIDN'T move straight to adoption--actually I went through a kajillion infertility treatments before deciding to adopt. No straight path there.
Love you anyway. Even though your poll is sub-par.
Thanks for telling me how to do them, though. I'm gonna try it out soon.

Tertia - i luv you and all but you left New Zealand off your list of countries, and there is no way in hell that i am putting myself from aus (no offence meant to the auzzies of course), its just not going to happen, apart from that, v cool poll
Posted by: chrissy | 10 June 2005 at 12:17 AM
hmmm, I don't work, but am not collecting unemployment - perhaps I should just check incarcerated?
Posted by: T | 10 June 2005 at 02:55 AM
i have windows xp with service pack 2 and i'm getting the damn pop ups, only some are blocked.
Tertia: please step away from the features with pop-ups. I repeat: STEP AWAY from the features with pop-ups.
This was a community service. Thank you.

K... this is going to be REALLY scary for me... because I've never ever posted anything remotely contradictory on the blogs I read... I'm not a wuss... BELIEVE me... I'm not a wuss... but I know how vulnerable I make myself in my own blog... and I just figure I don't need to say something unless it's positive... ESPECIALLY on Tertia's site... she whom I have dubbed the Avatar of Blog... (notice there's a lot of back peddling before I even state my point?)
BUT BUT... I'm kinda sad... because I liked the old format of Tertia's blog better... I miss the old blog... DON'T STONE ME...
I fell in love with Tertia and her blog because of her story, her verve, her pain, her joys... you know.... all that visceral stuff... and I LOVED that the site wasn't cluttered with a bunch of bells and whistles that distracted from the pure content of TERTIA. All these new blog bells and whistles ... well... if that's what Tertia wants then that's exactly what it should be. Everything and everyone evolves eventually...
I just liked Tertia best of all... siiiigh.
Ok... I'm prepared for the hate mail...

Love the polls, v. interesting but your blog seems to be talking to me (no I'm not going mad). One feature actually talks and I've been caught out a couple of times at work today LOL. Anyone else noticed this?(please say yes)
