You asked for more stuff about Marko, so I wondered what I could say about him. Then I had a brilliant idea – why not let him tell you about ME! Because it’s all about me after all.
I sent Marko an email telling him he had to complete a mini survey* on me. Surprisingly he did, I thought he would tell me to bugger off.
________________________________________________________________________
you have to complete this so that i can post it on my blog, can give short answers
1. what am i like as a mother
Tertia is the best mom in the world, she is caring, loving, patient and understanding. She loves her 2 babies / children very much and she loves her family as a whole very much.
2. what do you love about me
There are too many things to mention that I love about you, but if I had name a few, I would say that I love you because you are a lovely wife, friend, mother, cook (ok maybe not), lover and inspiration to me. You are kind, gorgeous and divine**, good looking, healthy, loving, generous, straight forward, honest, passionate (about some things), intelligent, loving, hard working, sensitive, well spoken, well groomed***, meticulous and neat.
3. what do you not like about me / my flaws (sure this will be a v short answer)
There are very few flaws, but once again if I am forced to mention them all, they would have to be that you are an irritating pain in the ass, a nagger, a little bit of a moan bag, have a bad memory (which is sometimes an plus point for me), too sensitive over some things, too worried about other things, stubborn and sometimes over analyze things.
4. which words do you love hearing me say
I love you / are you in the mood? / lets go shopping / you are very good at ..... / you can have that (what ever it is that I want at the time). Rose is going to be here for the weekend (Must be my favourite at the moment).
5. which words do you hate hearing me say
Lets talk / I have a chore for you / what do you want for supper / you are not allowed to get this / are you sure that this is the right thing to do / I need to tell you of something that happened and you are not allowed to be angry. You have to hold one of the babies (not too good at it, so makes me feel bad). There are more things I could mention, but I will stop here for now.
6. complete the sentence: tertia is g__________ and d___________.
Must it start with the f&*^%%$ g and d??
tertia is gorgeous and divine!!!!!!
Ahhhh, I see. You wanted me to say that. Sneaky little bugger.

Isn’t he sweet! And it is extra special coming from someone who, when I tell him to say ‘I love you’, says he can’t, he is saving it for special occasions. Asshole.
*Am particularly fond of surveys at the mo’, as you might have noticed.
**Notice how well trained the man is. He did that without prompting. I have indoctrinated him. I whisper in his ear at night, while he is sleeping: Tertiaaaa issss gorgeoussss and divinnnnneee…..
***He spoilt it with that one, because that is an out and out lie. I am ultra casual at home. Maybe he means when I get dressed up for work?
Aww..that's sweet! I think our "flaws" are the same!

How sweet. Let's hope my husband has as many nice things to say about me once our two little ones arrive!

Awww that's adorable.

Very sweet! You two sound like a great pair.

v v sweet Tertia! I only hope my husband would say such nice things about me. Marko is a real keeper.

Aww that was the best! I love people with flaws. If you don't have flaws, then you're not perfect! :)

I love it!! I could never get my hubby to fill a survey out...of course I have never sent him one. Nevertheless...He is definitely a smart man and the answers are priceless if you ask me. (hehe..Rose is here for the weekend...I have a 1 year old and our favorite words are "He's going to stay at Granny's house!)
Anyway, stay gorgeous and divine! Marko is one lucky man.

Love the idea - in fact I'm going to see if I can get my hubby to fill one out. Probably about time he got a voice on my blog. :)
Three cheers for Marko. Of course you are gorgeous and divine.

Very cool.
Please tell Marko that I am sure Adam & Kate think he holds them perfectly. I just know they do.
Now I want to trade my "Paul" in for your Marko.

Marko sounds like a pretty kewl guy....which is more than I can say for your friend Lloyd....

Quote from Lloyd's boring journal:... live in Rossville Ga. Im overweight and under paid. be strange if you want, I can deal with it!

Big sigh. Big smile.
When can you have his clone ready for me?
How wonderful. You both deserve all the happiness ever.

BRAVO Marko!!! That was superb, spectacular, and oh so very sweet. I don't think we've heard from Marko himself in a long time (maybe ever?) ... this was quite a treat. =)

He's cute as hell. And for the record T - "well groomed" to a man means you are taking care of business. As in you understand that Fur on the beach is not a fashion statement - if you get my drift.
Well done.

It so didn't even look like you typed that for him either. Well done.

I am dating someone just like Marko! Except he can't say "I love you" frequently because when he says it he wants it to "mean something" and he feels saying it all the time makes it lose it's meaning.
But the important thing is look how sweet Marko is... awwwwww. and that is how I feel about my boyfriend. even if he's an asshole. :)
Posted by: Erin | 18 March 2005 at 07:15 PM
Okay. I guess he can stay.
Posted by: Mollie | 18 March 2005 at 07:29 PM
I think you should keep him!
You inspired me to write my own blog. My life isn't as excited as yours, though!
Posted by: Stefanie | 18 March 2005 at 07:32 PM
It does the heart good to see people in love.
Posted by: reenie | 18 March 2005 at 09:02 PM
I think you should post a mini-survey on Marko! He just seems to good to be true.
I like the list of things that he doesn't like you to say. I especially like the part about "I have something to tell you and you're not allowed to be angry"! or "what do you want for supper?" When I ask my husband he always answers with "what do YOU want?"
very irritating.
Posted by: LizM | 18 March 2005 at 09:07 PM
oh and I really do think it's better to save "I love you" for special moments. Don't get me wrong... I LOVE that my husband says it a lot BUT, it does lose a little bit of it's power.
Kind of like how "fuck" doesn't seem so dirty if you say it all the time!

I love happy couples, I do. Am, as always, very happy for you. Love, J.

It's obvious he knows you well and loves you. My dad was like that about holding newborns - it's a confidence thing. He'll get over it!
Posted by: Angela | 18 March 2005 at 10:22 PM
That was just too damn adorable... I love how a little bit of your personal relationship dynamic showed through that exchange of queries and answers.
AND... I now totally 'get' why you wanted to hear from your blog visitors... I used to feel I was bothering you by giving yet ANOTHER comment to read... But now that I have my own blog... I CRAVE the comments... so I will definitely be showing up here more often!

Hee! What a sweetie you have Tertia.
I took your idea, adapted it a bit, and emailed a survey to my husband at work today. Here is what he replied. ( I think Greg is a lot like Marko, from what you've shared about Marko
1) What do you love about me? Your heart
2) What do you not like about me? That we don’t like the same movies.
3) Words that I love to hear you say are...We’re alone for the weekend!
4) Words that I do not like to hear you say are...We need to pay blah, blah, blah…….
5) The one thing I don't ever want you to change is... Your passion
6) The one thing I would like you to work on/change is...Your health
7) When I think of our future I... Think of being old together and in some place warm.
8) If I had to describe who you are in one word it would be... Emotional
9) As a mother Donna is... Patient
10) As a partner Donna is... Loving
Awww, thanks for the idea Tertia. My husband is very loving, but does not always express it well. This made my day :)

That is SOOO sweet. I think I'll make my husband do it, too!
Posted by: Angie | 19 March 2005 at 12:07 AM
He sounds charming. I keep hearing mention in the comments section of what total eye candy he is too, so I'm hoping a picture will be forthcoming?
Posted by: Carol | 19 March 2005 at 01:09 AM
He loves that you are healthy. That's fantastic.
Posted by: sarasponda | 19 March 2005 at 01:36 AM
I *love* which words he loves hearing you say and which words he hates hearing you say ("you are not allowed to get this"--ha!).
Marko is hilarious. Thanks for posting.

OMG, what a great idea! I'm totally going to steal it and get my husband to complete a questionnaire about me. My man's got the same issues with the saying of the "i love you" so we'll see if this works....:)
Posted by: zarqa | 19 March 2005 at 02:28 AM
My husband filled it out and said he put it on my blog. I'm afraid to look. LOL
Posted by: Angie | 19 March 2005 at 03:22 AM
What a very sweet and well trained husband you have there. I agree that you should deffinately keep him.
Posted by: Katie | 19 March 2005 at 06:08 AM
