Love things like this. I remember doing something like this when my oldest was about 5. I interviewed him about his dad and printed and framed the results for Father's Day.
Posted by: Kristin | 19 March 2009 at 06:58 PM
My 8 year old also answered by saying HER favorite foods, and then realized she "has no idea" what mine are. Kids are so self-centered! But it was better than my friend's interview with her 15 year old, who answered that his mom was good at "making me angry", that whatever makes her laugh he "hasn't discovered it yet" and that she spends her time "sleeping".

Classic. Sarah is too young to be interviewed BUT as a teacher, it's ALWAYS easier to get "things" out of girls- 95% of girls LOVE to talk and about 5% of boys like to talk!! So funny- if there's are problem at school, I always try and find a girl who saw what happened. I'll get a detailed report from a girl and I'll get the bare facts from a boy! Love them both though!!

Lightning McQueen... lol. You know, that could catch on?

Im with you on scarring your kids for life. I currently work third shift and my kids like to tell everyone (teachers too) that all mommy does is sleep all day. The looks I get when conferences come around are priceless. My kids are 7 and 6 by the way.
Im hoping they realize one of these days that we do more than work/sleep. :)

I tried but at just under 3 we didn't get anything vaguelly intelligable. Except for the fact that Lighting McQueen (pronounced ing-queen) features highly, along with 'kapow', 'float like a cadallac, steam like a beaver' (should be sting like a beamer) and 'we god ourselves a nooooodder'.
Clearly the boys all absorb car related movies even when they're equally exposed to alternatives! ;-)
