Just about sums up our marriage perfectly
Marko and I are both having leftovers for supper tonight. Nothing I cooked (obviously), but a little something each of our mothers cooked themselves and sent over for their darling child.
Me = spicy lentil and mushroom soup
Marko = tamatie bredie (a traditional Afrikaans tomato and mutton stew)
Poor guy misses his mother's cooking terribly. Actually, he probably just misses having anyone cook for him at all. Ah well, can't be good at everything you know! (We are still figuring out what exactly I am good at. As soon we figure it out, will let you know)

I think WE already know what you are good at!

Have you seen the episode of friends where Monica gives the worst massages?
Chandler puts a spin on it - she is the BEST at giving the worst massages.
Could you be the BEST at being a bad cook?!!

You are so LUCKY that you both have Mommy's who cook & love you so much that they give you the "left overs". Personally, I don't think you're getting "left overs" you're gettin lots of LOVE! How sweet is that???
I wish I lived close to my Mommy. She is a wonderful cook & a fabulous pastry chef! She's German & makes the most wonderful apple strudel...ok, I'm drooling just thinking about it. Yum!
Food is love ~ T2

in germany and switzerland we have the "dummy fairy". the kids can tell when they want to give away their dummies and get a gift instead. my son gave it to santa clause when he was 3.5 years old. wasn't a big problem. the second evening, while he was crying for his dummy, i promised him that he would get kinder surprise (chocolate egg + surprise) if he stopped crying. he did, and so i knew that the loss of his dummy wasn't too bad if a kinder surprise was enough to calm him. ;-)

I`ve been reading your blog for some time now, and if I can take a guess about what you`re good at, I`d say you`re good at never giving up! THAT`S inspirational. PS: I`ve sent you an e-mail to your gmail account...
