Of course I was going to stay, there was never any doubt. Could never leave my children alone in a strange place.
I didn't have a LOT of sleep, but not too bad. Adam wanted to sleep with me on the sleeper chair thing. Which was fine. Just bloody small.
He is a lot better this morning. And managed to keep two bottles down. Good news. He is a little hot still, so not totally over it. He's still wearing his bloody Spiderman swim suit, which he refuses to take off. Really hope we get to go home today.

Aww, he looks so small! I hope Adam is starting to feel better.

I'm glad he seems to be doing better. I'm thinking of you and hoping and praying you guys can go home soon!

Spiderman, Spiderman, does watched a spider can.
Good to hear that he's keeping food down! I hope he's able to come home today as well. I've never been able to sleep in a hospital ... far too stressful of a place to sleep in.
Much love!

Shame Muriel. Just saw this now. Hope he's better today. Have done the hospital thing way too many times with my 95 children. Thankfully, Jonah has been fairly healthy. Answer to your questions: Yes, I always, always stay with them in hospital. Would never leave. Am over-paranoid mommy. No, hate holding them down, so I leave Scott/ the nurses to do the nasty while I sob in the other room. Worst experience: James getting drip put into his head when he had pneumonia, gastro and pink eye. Not sure whether one butt cheek is bigger than the other cos have no more butt now that have been sick for 25 weeks. Ok, so 5 weeks, but still.
Sterkte vriend.

Wonderful that he's starting to keep fluids down. One more day and I'm sure you'll be home.
Our babies' doctor had a rule that parents HAD to leave the room when procedures were being done. His view was that the babe would be confused that the parent wasn't stopping the staff from doing "bad" things to them. When you came back in the room the child knew it was over because Mom or Dad was there now.
BTW, your bed is going to feel sooo comfortable when you get back to sleeping in it!

Go SpiderAdam!!! Such a brave boy and such a wonderful mama in such a tough time.
(totally off topic: Tertia, his feet are HUGE! That child is going to be off-the-charts tall.)
