How funny!
My son looks JUST LIKE his father too. What makes it worse is they have the same mannerisms, their voices sound alike, they have the same tastes... everythign about them is identical.
I told my husband once that having our son is insurance that I will never leave him. I mean, if I still have to put up with his clone, what's the point!

Now THAT makes me smile.
Just a small familial resemblance, that's all. LOL

LOVE IT! can't wait until mine is a bit older & really looks like his daddy too- right now when someone comments 'He looks like his dad' my hubbys says, 'yeah- i'd like to know who that is..' Drives me NUTS!

Aww, too cute! Does Adam make everyone laugh, because he is so like Dad? Both quite G&D, aren't you lucky!
Now could you kindly post a pair of you and Kate? I think I've seen some strong resemblance there too!
This is a fun game, and you will keep on playing it for years to come...

Definate family resemblence. Love the ears... At my Mum's about eight months after my son was born and my daughter was almost five, she wanted to know why David was wearing a dress in the photo on the wall. Had to explain that it was her at 10 months. not David... Hubby has the dominant genes, both step-daughter and daughter looked like sisters as babies. Hard to tell them apart when you first glance at their baby photos. Love the photos.

Oh yeah!! One would definitely say they are family :)

Spot the matching ears!! Lips look similar too and face shape, hair style. Cool! Yep, sure looks like dad.
Posted by: Kim | 26 June 2005 at 10:27 AM
OMG that is too funny!
Posted by: Jenn in AK | 26 June 2005 at 10:39 AM
Yep! Just like daddy. Amazing.

Holy crap, is that Marko's baby picture on the top?
No secret what Adam will look like as an adult, huh?
Posted by: Angie | 26 June 2005 at 02:01 PM
Ahhh... you are blessed with two G&D men in your household! Adam will have girls lining up in just a couple of years. ;-)
How cool that they look so much alike. Definitely Marko's MiniMe. LOL

Such handsome hunks you got there. I'd say Marko need not ask "who's your daddy?".

We make the same kind of joke about my husband and our son - they're clones, so at least we know the guy in the lab wasn't having a bad day and mixed up the samples just out of spite! It drives me nuts cause there don't appear to be any of MY genes in that boy!!!
Posted by: Christine K | 26 June 2005 at 03:13 PM
Yep, they do look like their Dad. But that doesn't mean a thing. Most babies do ... is supposed to be some kind of evolutionary thingey to assure the father the babes are really his. It can change dramatically as they grow. My little goddaughter, who looked exactly like her Dad at birth to one year now at five looks only like her mother. It's weird.
But since you've got a very good-looking guy there it'll be ok even if it doesn't change. :)

Holy canoli, that precious boy of yours looks just like that gorgeous man of yours. WOW!
Posted by: Kelly | 26 June 2005 at 04:29 PM
My husband calls our son "mini-me". They don't look alike now, but apparently the boy looks exactly like DH did when he was a baby.
And the girl looks exactly like me.
In the Philippines (my husband is Filipino) they have a saying that if you have a baby that looks like your spouse, it means you love your spouse. I think it's bullshit, but it's still cute that we got one baby that looks like me and one that looks like him.
It must be love.

Adam definitely has M's eyes, but it looks like he's got your chin - much pointier (forgive me!) than Marko's, don't you think?
Posted by: Thalia | 26 June 2005 at 06:15 PM
I cannot believe that more people are not commenting on how hot Marko is.
Of course your babies are gorgeous as always.
But. WOW

If I can't have Marko, then I want to reserve a little of the old Mrs. Robinson action with Adam in about 18 years...
Oh, I know. Bite my tongue! That's... disgusting! That's... perverted! That's...
me.

very lucky lady...
Posted by: ktcakes | 26 June 2005 at 10:38 PM
Wow...if it weren't that the baby in the top picture has longer hair, I wouldn't even have know that it was Marko instead of Adam! What a lovely matched set you have =) And yes, now you must post one of you and miss Kate!
Posted by: DebbieS | 27 June 2005 at 01:06 AM
Wow... that's one of the closest resemblances I've ever seen... But Kate doesn't look like either of them at all!
Posted by: Irina | 27 June 2005 at 03:09 AM
I have to agree WOW that is clearly obvious.
My husband and son share an identical birthmark, literally the same color, location, shape, etc. It's crazy.
I think the similarity yours share is almost spooky. :-) In a good way though.

My older son looks exactly like me, which is sad in a way because I look exactly like my dickhead of a dad.
My younger son, however, looks just like his grandfather.
His MATERNAL grandfather.
We haven't decided about my daughter.
Posted by: RainbowW | 27 June 2005 at 11:31 AM
You didn't call him Marko's mini-me for nothing!
My oldest looks like me only cuter with more freckles. Which is fine since his dad left when he was 2. Although, like Rainbow, I look my dickhead of a dad too! Yeah, the genes are strong on that side and they aren't fussy about gender! My dad, brother and I all look alike in our baby pics.
Everyone says the little guy looks exactly like my husband, but we see him as the perfect blend!
This might be the only game you can play with birth children that you can't play with adoptees. Hopefully when I adopt someday I'll think of something just as fun to play instead.
