About 10 years ago I (pretty much) stopped caring about what people think about me. If they're going to be who they are...I can be who I am and worrying about it just wastes my time and stresses me out.

I would have to agree with Joanne. This blog is about you, your feelings, your beliefs. If you feel strongly about something, you do not have to apologise for that. Maybe lots of people will disagree with you on some issues, but it does not mean you have to change to make them happy. Be yourself, even if it does offend your readers.
