I know I have one or two people who worry about me constantly, no names mentioned (Brid, Jennifer, Jen…..) and if I don’t do an entry on my blog every day they fear the worse. And I love them, and all of you, for your care and concern, I really do.
However, sometimes I have nothing to say, other times I get a little cave’ish.
Today is a bit of both, nothing serious, just stressing about someone close to me who is going through a tough time, and also getting mentally ready for Monday’s visit. I am now at the stage where I don’t look forward to the scans, I fear them in case of bad news.
But I promise you that I will let you know if, heaven forbid, something happens. For now take no news as good news.
I will send a short message to my blog via my cell phone (I have all the details saved on my phone and even Marko could send a short note) and I will let Julie know the details and I am sure she will let you know via her blog. So no bad thoughts if you don’t hear from me.
Deal?

Laughing...poor Tertia! What a lot of pressure to know that half the planet is worried about your cervix. Cracking myself up! No worrying or pressure, will be looking forward to your update.

Um, okay. Deal.
*crossing fingers behind my back*
PROMISE you will update if there's anything of concern?
I'll be anxiously awaiting your report on Monday.
Love,
Stressball (aka Jennifer)

Hmph. Not very happy, but will let that part slide. Wishing you peace & comfort in your cave. :)
Take good care of yourself & be well.

here's an alternative: could you attach a web cam to your cervix? that way we are informed, but you don't have to post???
you're minutes away from 28 weeks AND you and your family are in our prayers...xo

Truly Teria I think you need to have your blog published as a book once your little twinnies arrive. I love reading your story and by the amount of comments you get I am not in the minority.
Posted by: Andrea | 12 November 2004 at 11:28 AM
There. I can safely read you again, fully clothed!
We are so excited for you and M, and looking forward to your big day.

Ok...it's a deal. I won't be frantically dialing the phone if I don't see anything written by you in the next few days...
Although...I have to say...I like the webcam attached to your cervix idea mentioned above.....

T., do whatever is working best for you and the babies. So if you need to groom your fur, no worries, CAVE AWAY. No news is good news, got it.
Posted by: Lioness | 12 November 2004 at 02:13 PM
Hey, didn't you forget to clear your plan with someone important, T.?
Space on my blog isn't free, you know...
Posted by: Julie | 12 November 2004 at 02:47 PM
I'm ok with that. I won't worry (are you buying that?) if you don't update regularly. Take care of you and those precious babies.
And I LOVE Tesses idea. Look into would you T? ;)
Posted by: Bridgette | 12 November 2004 at 03:09 PM
I have been reading your blog for awhile now but this is my first time commenting. I just wanted to tell you more people then you think look forward to your updates!
Posted by: Lisbon Mama | 12 November 2004 at 04:21 PM
Umm...yeah, we won't worry, ha. Ok, deal but you know I too really like that idea of the web cam. The only reason I sign on every day is to check on you T so know that there are more than one or 2 people stressing, worrying and praying for you and the babies.
Posted by: Charmaine | 12 November 2004 at 04:22 PM
I guess this means no more undie shots for awhile?
Cave away, dear.
Thinking of you and yours...
Posted by: Deanna | 12 November 2004 at 04:26 PM
We will probably worry anyway just cos we care:)
But of course most important thing is to take care of yourself in whatever way you need to!! I, for one, will probably still check obsessively for updates, cos really - what else do I have to do at work but worry about virtual strangers?:)
Will continue with my new mantra: babies in January, BABIES IN JANUARY!
Posted by: Jess | 12 November 2004 at 04:30 PM
You do whatever you need to do to make those babies stay put! We all do worry about you and will continue to do so until those babies come - in January!!
Posted by: Stefanie | 12 November 2004 at 05:55 PM
Deal.
Love you...
Posted by: Sherry | 12 November 2004 at 06:25 PM
O.k., deal.
xxxooo

...but...but...but...*glowering*
oh ok dammit.
you do whatever it takes to avoid any stress, and keep that cervix clamped shut tight. And don't forget to have that beginnings-of-a-bed-sore addressed by the nurse, too, 'kay?
smooches,
vicki

I can still check your blog a million times a day though, right?
Posted by: Bridgette | 12 November 2004 at 10:20 PM
Will miss the updates, but can eagerly look forward to Monday's update if I survive the weekend.
Stay well, no bad updates!!! BAbies in January.

Ah-ha! I have been waiting for just this opportunity...
Tertia, sweet muffin, space on MY blog is free, so you just let me know if you need anything or if I you need me to post more pictures of you in the all-together or if you just want to talk about how crabby a-little-Julie has gotten lately. I am here for you. Unlike SOME PEOPLE.
Take care. Cave away. We will be sending good thoughts as always.

Hi Tertia
Greetings from Texas.
I thought the link "my vagina posse" would be pictures of your vagina. Oh Well. But then again, I always thought you get pink eye from scratching your brown eye.
We will be thinking of you over the next few weeks.
Looking forward to more news and updates.
Love from the Budde's

And space on my blog is free as well.
